Abstract

PURPOSE: To cope with desirable rate of adsorption by folding a packing material, with its non-woven fabric facing inward, to form a bag having a sealed chamber for adsorbent therein, and bonding the peripheral sections of the bag having a seal width to allow gas to pass through the cross section of the bonded part.
CONSTITUTION: A sealed bag is formed in such a manner that a composite packing material comprising a plastic film layer 1 made of polyethylene terephthalate and a heat-sealable long fiber non-woven fabric 2a, wherein core material of polyethylene terephthalate is coated with polyethylene, is folded double and sections at the perimeter of the non-woven fabric 2a having specific sealing width are thermally bonded together to form bonded sections 4a on the three sides of the packing material, whereby oxygen adsorbents 5a are filled into a sealed chamber 3. As a result, cross sectional area of the non-woven fabric can be optionally selected, so that quantity of gas passing through the non-woven fabric can be precisely controlled.
