段を有することを特徴とする.また、上記制御部の読出
手段が所定の時間毎に記憶部の画像情報を読出し、表示
部の広告表示を峙間的に変化させることを特徴とする.
[実施例] 以下、本発明の実施例について図面を参照して詳細に説
明する. 第1図に本発明の一実施例による広告表示装置の概略構
成を示すブロック図である. 図において,本実施例の広告表示装置は、画像取込部と
してのイメージスキャナlと,記憶部2と,表示部3と
、制御部4とで構成されている.イメージスキャナlは
、広告写真や広告画から画像情報を取り込む.このイメ
ージスキャナ1は、広告写真や広告画の画像を各265
階調のRGB信号として取込みディジタル画像情報に変
換する.記憶部2は、イメージスキャナlで取込んだ画
像情報を記憶するもので、ハードディスクや光ディスク
等の大記憶容疑の記憶装置を用いている。表示部3は、
記憶部2に記憶した画像情報を表示する。この表示部3
としては、大型のテレビジョン(ブラウン管式、液晶式
、放電管式等)またはビデオプロジェクターを用いる.
本発明では、横640ドット、縦400ドットで画素数
25万個、各画素毎に1600万色の高画質カラー表示
を行なう.制御部4は、上記イメージスキャナ1、記憶
部2、表示部3を制御する.第2図は上記制御部4のブ
ロック図である.イメージスキャナ1で取込んだ画像情
報は書込手段4lにより記憶部2に書込まれる。この際
、データの圧縮等を行なうこともできる.記憶部2には
、数十から数千画面分の画像情報が蓄積される. 記憶部2に格納された画像情報は、読出手段42により
メモリ43に読み出される.このメモリ43への読出は

り込んだ画像情報を磁気ディスク、光ディスク等により
広告表示装置に転送する事も可能である.また、それら
の画像取込部を公衆網やISDN網を介して接続し、オ
ンラインで画像を入力するようにしてもよい. 本発明の広告表示装置は、スタンドアロン型の装置とし
て構威し、不特定多数の者が目にすることのできる駅構
内や街頭等に設置するものとする。
