CONSTITUTION: In the 6-high mill in which a horizontal roll bender 15 with which a horizontal bending force is given on a roll and a device for offsetting in the horizontal direction are provided, the roll offset bender adjusting device 15 which can adjust the horizontal roll bender 15 and the roll offset quantity is provided on the intermediate roll 7. And, the ratio of the diameter of the intermediate roll to the diameter of the work roll 3 is constituted so as to be 0.3-2.0. In this way, the accuracy of sheet shape control can be improved and the damage such as the spalling of back-up roll can be prevented.
