Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable automatic performance wherein individually shows up by carrying on performance by a player himself in player's tempo over timing and normalizing note data according to performance data on the performance so that the individuality of the player is maintained.
CONSTITUTION: The player carries on the performance operation, the performance data based upon the performance operation is outputted, and time timing is inputted to the player together with the performance operation by the player, thereby outputting time timing data based upon the input operation. Time data indicating the input timing of the performance data and time timing data outputted from a performance operation means and a time timing input means in order is generated and written in storage means 7 and 8 together with the performance data and time timing data. Further, the time data stored in the storage means 7 and 8 are normalized and written so that sections determined by time timing data in the storage means 7 and 8 which adjoin to each other with time become equal in time. Consequently, the performance operation wherein the individuality of the player shows up becomes possible.
