Abstract
PURPOSE: To make variations small in the temperature of water, irrespective of seasons, when the filling of the water into a bathtub is complete, by a method wherein the temperature of a hot water being filled into the bathtub is made changeable according to the temperature of the water being filled thereinto detected by a filling water temperature detection means.
CONSTITUTION: When an automatic operation switch 33 is turned on, a solenoid valve 7 for effecting an automatic hot water supply is turned on for hot water supply into a bathtub 21. At this time, the temperature of the hot water supplied is the sum of the value of a temperature set by a temperature setting device 35 and the correction value made variable by the water temperature detected by a thermistor 26 for the water being filled into the bathtub. When the water level set by a water level setting device 34 is detected by a water level sensor 23, the solenoid valve is deenergized. Since the temperature of the hot water being filled into the bathtub 21 can varied in this way according to the temperatures of the water being filled into the bathtub, a large difference in the radiation loss of the bathtub 21 and a pipe between the summer and winter seasons is absorbed, whereby the variations in the temperature of the hot water can be made smaller, irrespective of the seasons, when the filling of the water into the bathtub 21 is complete.
