Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of components by adopting CMOS constitution outputting an input data and latching it synchronously with the leading edge of a single phase clock, and constituting the flip-flop of ten components. CONSTITUTION:A MOSFET 1 is connected between a data input terminal D and the input to a CMOS inverter (inverter) 2, a clock signal C is fed to the gate and the output of the inverter 2 is fed back to the input via an inverter 9 and acts like a master latch. A MOSFET 5 is connected between the output of the inverter 2 and the input of an inverter 6, the clock signal C is fed to the gate and the output of the inverter 6 is fed back to the input via an inverter 10 and the inverter 6 acts like a slave latch. Then the output of the inverter 6 is extracted at a data output terminal Q. Thus, the number of components is reduced.
