Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce manufacturing cost for forming a vibrating plate part by a method wherein the vibrating plate part is formed of a bottom wall part of a recessed groove in a passage block.
CONSTITUTION: A liquid drop jetting device is composed by being equipped with a base block 1 consisting of zircon and lead titanate substrate, a passage block 2, and a covering component 3. In order to obtain the passage block 2, a mask is placed on one surface of a platy photosensitive glass, and a latent image is formed in the glass by applying ultraviolet selectively to parts which become a recessed groove 13 and an orifice 17 to make an exposed-to light part easy to be dissolved in acid by being crystallized. After application of ultraviolet ray to an unexposed part also, the recessed groove 13 and the orifice 17 are obtained by performing etching process. A bottom wall part of the recessed groove 13 functions as a vibrating plate part 20, and the vibrating plate part 20 comes to be installed in one united body with the passage block 2. Since all the block 2 does not become thin, its handling is easy, and its assem bling can be quickly achieved.
