Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a section between a main body and a suction device, to be arranged with two wires by switching a power feeding wire to a rotary cleaning member driving DC motor with current to be fed from the side of the main body, and by interrupting the power feeding wire with slight current when a current limiting means is worked. CONSTITUTION:When moving joint pieces 21a-21c are moved to a degree in the direction of an arrow head B, then a first mode for performing suction working only is set, and when the pieces are moved to a degree further, then a second mode for the suction working and working a rotary type brush 7 is set, and when the pieces are moved to a degree further, then a third mode for the suction working and rotating a wiping member 8 is set. By LED lamps 29, 30, 31, the first, second, and third modes are displayed. The LED lamp 29, a resistor 32, and diodes 40, 39 are arranged in series, and a series-connection circuit is connected to wires 27a, 27b. By current to be fed from the side of a main body, a power feeding wire to a DC motor 10 can be switched, and the LED lamp 30 is lit when current for rotating the DC motor 10 in the forward direction flows, and the LED lamp 31 is lit when current for rotating the DC motor 10 in the reverse direction flows.

Conventional vacuum cleaner suction devices have the function of scraping up dirt and polishing floors by rotating a brush or wiping member using a motor. With this configuration, for example, it is possible to scrape up and suck up cotton garbage entangled in a long-pile carpet, or to simultaneously wipe away dirt adhering to the floor while sucking up the garbage.

By the way, when cleaning a carpet, the rotary brush is driven and there is no need to operate the rotary wiping member. Conversely, when cleaning the floor, the wiping member is driven and the rotary brush does not need to be operated. If the rotary brush or wiping member rotates when it is not needed, it may even have the opposite effect.

The rotating brush or wiping member must then stop rotating or be moved away from the cleaning surface when not needed. Also, in this type of vacuum cleaner, neither the rotary brush nor the wiping member rotates, and the first part only performs the suction action.
It is conceivable to provide a total of three operation modes: a second mode in which the rotary brush is operated with the suction operation, and a third mode in which the wiping member is rotated with the suction operation.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention By the way, in this type of vacuum cleaner, the main body is rotatable relative to the suction device, and rotational movements are frequently performed during use, and the electric power between the main body and the suction device is The cord will have to be bent and stretched frequently. In addition, in the case where three operating modes are provided as described above, and the suction device is equipped with an indicator lamp corresponding to each operation mode, the power cord between the main body and the suction device has a total of three electric wires. It is necessary to use the one that However, the power cord for rotating the motor must be made of sufficiently thick wires. However, when a power cord made of three thick wires bundled together is bent in a certain direction, a relatively strong force will be generated on the outer wires to stretch them, so such power cords should not be compared. Does not get oily inside. In other words, if the number of wires in the power cord increases, it becomes difficult to rotate the main body, making it difficult to use. Furthermore, when such power cords are frequently bent or stretched, the wires become fatigued and are prone to breakage.

Means for Solving the Problems In order to solve the above problems, the present invention has an operation switch on the main body side that switches between the first mode, the second mode, and the third mode. When the above state occurs, DC power is supplied to the suction system through the current limiting means, and in the suction system, the DC motor for driving the rotating cleaning member is powered by the current sent from the main body side. It is equipped with a switch means for opening and closing the power supply line, and is configured to cut off the power supply line at a small current when the current limiting means is activated, and a lamp for indicating the first mode is arranged to cut off the power supply line when the current limiting means is activated. The indicator lamp for the second mode is turned on when a current for rotating the DC motor in the forward direction flows; The indicator lamp for mode 3 was constructed so as to light up when the DC motor was rotated in the opposite direction and a current flowed.

FIG. 4 shows a second embodiment of the present invention.
In this embodiment, a relay device is used in place of the triac 41 of the previous embodiment. A relay device 45 is provided for switching alternating current, and is inserted in series with the direct current motor 10. Reference numeral 46 denotes a current supply line for passing current through the coil 45a of the relay device 45. In this configuration, the relay device 45 is used only when the current limiting means on the main body side does not work, that is, when a large current flows.
The contact pieces 45b, 45c come into contact to operate the DC motor 10, and when the current limiting means operates, the small current causes the contact pieces 45b, 45c to separate and the DC motor 10 comes to a halt.

Effects of the Invention As described above, the present invention provides a system in which, on the main body side, when the operation switch for switching between the first mode, the second mode, and the third mode is in the first mode, is configured to supply DC power to the suction tool side via a current limiting means, and on the suction tool side, the power supply line to the DC motor for driving the rotating cleaning member is connected by the current sent from the main body side. It is equipped with a switch means for opening and closing, and is configured to cut off the power supply line at a small current when the current limiting means is activated, and a lamp for indicating the first mode is connected to the suction device via the current limiting means. The indicator lamp for the second mode lights up when a current that rotates the DC motor in the forward direction flows, and the indicator lamp for the third mode lights up when the current that rotates the DC motor in the forward direction flows. The indicator lamp is configured so that it lights up when the current that rotates the DC motor in the opposite direction flows, so that there is a pair of lights between the main body and the suction device to supply power from the main body side to the suction device side. Depending on the magnitude of the current flowing through the wire, information indicating whether the mode is in the first mode or another mode can be sent to the inhaler, so even if three operating modes are provided, the inhaler will Even if there are indicator lamps corresponding to each operating mode and there are only two electric wires between the main body and the suction device, the lamp for indicating the first mode can be lit on the suction device side. I can do it. Therefore, there is no need to use three electric wires between the main body and the suction device, the main body can be easily rotated, and the wires are less likely to break.
