Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the workability of a roller assembling device by providing a moving means for supplying a roller into a predetermined channel formed in a roller receiving stand and for horizontally reciprocating a roller separating plate adapted for pressing a roller from above to position the roller, and providing a roller shaft press-in means capable of pressing a roller shaft into the roller.
CONSTITUTION: A separating plate 5 having a roller 1a put in a roller separating hole 5a is forced to advance by a distance (d) by a roller supply cylinder 6 and supplys the roller 1a from the roller separating hole 5a to a channel 4. After the roller supply cylinder 6 is kept stationary for a predetermined time, the cylinder 6 retreats in the opposite direction by the distance d/2 and is stopped by a brake mechanism provided in the cylinder 6. The roller 1a in the channel 4 is held by the roller separating plate 5 from above in the H direction and positioned. While the roller 1a is thus pressed, a shaft is pressed into the roller 1a by a shaft press-in cylinder. The cylinder 6 further retreats by the distance d/2 so that the roller separating plate 5 returns to its initial position. One roller 1a is then put in the roller separating hole 5a from a roller hopper 2.
