Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable a door to be safely and smoothly opened/closed by connecting an output shaft with a door driving driven shaft by means of a slip connector which slips when the door is subjected to load equal to or more than a specified one.
CONSTITUTION: A pulley backing fitting 23 is fitted onto the end section of an upper frame 22, and a toothed belt 79 is engaged on a toothed pulley 78 which is rotatably provided for the backing fitting 23, and a toothed pulley 78 which is provided for a driven shaft 5. The connector fitting 24 of a main door 4a is fitted on the toothed belt 79, when the belt 79 is moved, the main door 4a is accordingly moved, and an auxiliary door 46 is also moved while being interlocked by means of an interlocking mechanism 17. A motor 1 is mounted onto the other end of the upper frame 22, the output shaft of which is connected with the driven shaft 5 via a slip connector 6. When load is therefore increased because a man and the like are held by the door 40, movement is suspended as the driven shaft 5 slips, and when load is released, the door keeps on moving as it is.
