Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent a deterioration of a relay contact owing to an inrush current by providing a semiconductor switching element connected in parallel to the relay contact, and a control means to output the ON signal of the semiconductor switching element before outputting the ON signal of the relay contact.
CONSTITUTION: A relay circuit 7 furnishing a relay contact 8 connected in series between power source terminals 1 and 2 and a capacitive load 6, a semiconductor switching element 9 connected in parallel to the relay contact 8, and a control means 10 to control the ON and OFF of the semiconductor switching element 9 and the semiconductor switching element 9 are provided. And the control means 10 outputs an ON signal of the semiconductor switching element 9 before outputting an ON signal of the relay contact 8. As a result, an inrush current generated when a power source 3 is ON is let flow through the semiconductor switching element 9 securely before the relay contact 8 is ON. Consequently, a fusing and a deterioration of the relay contact 8 by the inrush current when the relay contact 8 is ON can be prevented.
