CONSTITUTION: A test signal being equivalent substantially to an abnormality detection signal I to be outputted from an abnormality detecting means 11 when an emergency of a vacuum apparatus 10 occurs is outputted to an abnormality signal detecting means 13a through an operation test means 14. Therefore, it turns possible to put in the range of an operation test, as objects, a detection resistance, a high-voltage power source, an amplifier for current detection, etc. constituting the abnormality signal detecting means 13a, which are out of the range of a conventional test. This enables elimination of an operation fault of an interrupting means 12 caused by a fault of the abnormality signal detecting means 13a, and an improvement in the reliability of the apparatus.
