The conventional paper separating device will be explained based on FIG. 2, which is a sectional view thereof. First, the pick-up roller 1 rotates counterclockwise and descends for a certain period of time in the direction of the paper 3 set on the hopper 2, and then the paper 3 is separated. Send it to the separation section in 4 directions. A reverse roller 6 is in opposing pressure contact with the bottom of the feed roller 5 of the separation section 4, and a constant torque T1 is always applied to the reverse roller 6 in the counterclockwise direction, but the torque T2 of the feed roller 5 is Since the torque T of roller 6 is set larger than 1 , reverse roller 6
is normally rotated clockwise by the rotational force of the feed roller 5.

Therefore, when the paper 3 is sent to the separating section 4 by the pick-up roller 1, the feed roller 5 rotates counterclockwise when there is only one sheet of paper 3, and in response to this rotation, the reverse roller 6 is rotated. rotates clockwise, and the paper 3 is conveyed in the direction of arrow a under the guidance of the guide 7. Further, when a plurality of sheets 3 are sent to the separation section 4, the feed roller 5 rotates counterclockwise because the friction coefficient between these sheets 3 is low, but the reverse roller 6 rotates counterclockwise. It rotates counterclockwise without responding to the rotational force, and returns all of the sheets 3 other than the top sheet 3 to the hopper 2. On the other hand, the topmost sheet 3 of the sheets 3 is conveyed by the feed roller 5 in the direction of arrow a under the guidance of a guide 7 and fed to a reading section (not shown) or the like.

However, in such a conventional example, when multiple sheets of paper are strongly pushed into the separating section, the reverse roller lowers and the sheets are caught between the feed roller and the reverse roller, so the sheets cannot be separated in time, and the paper is A problem arises in that a plurality of sheets are stacked and fed to a reading section or the like. Further, there is a problem in that even if sheets of paper that are not well-sorted and are sent closely together are sent to the separating section, the sheets are fed as they are to the reading section or the like.

In a paper separation device, a paper set in a hopper is sent between a feed roller and a reverse roller by rotation of a pick-up roller and guided by a guide, and the paper is separated one by one by the feed roller and reverse roller and sent out. A paper receiving part is provided at the end of the hopper at an angle in the direction of the feed roller, and an escape hole is provided in the guide above the paper receiving part for the paper that rides on the paper receiving part. .

In the present invention having such a configuration, when the paper is sent from the hopper to between the feed roller and the reverse roller by the pick-up roller and the guide,
The paper contacts the paper receiver immediately before the reverse roller, and then the paper further rides on the paper receiver. This allows air to enter between the sheets, and the sheets are divided so that the coefficient of friction between the sheets is reduced.

At this time, the upper sheet of paper that rides on the sheet receiving section escapes through the escape hole provided in the guide, thereby preventing the occurrence of a jam.

Additionally, if there is no escape hole in the guide, if multiple sheets of paper are fed out at the same time, a wedge-shaped space will be formed between the paper receiving section and the guide, causing a paper jam. The escape hole provided in the guide allows the upper paper to move freely upwards, and the lower paper becomes difficult to move due to friction with the paper receiver, so the upper paper is well fanned, and then the feed roller and The reverse roller reliably separates the sheets one by one and sends them out.

Next, the operation of the above structure will be explained. First, the pick-up roller 12 rotates counterclockwise and descends for a certain period of time in the direction of the paper 14 set on the hopper 11, and sends the paper 14 towards the separating section 13. At this time, the paper 14 is held at a predetermined angle of the paper receiving portion 11a as shown in FIG.
It collides with the enemy, climbs onto it, and is destroyed. That is, the paper receiving portion 11a allows air to enter between the sheets of paper 14, making it easier to separate the sheets of paper 14. Also, since the guide 8 above the paper receiving portion 11a has an escape hole 8c, the paper receiving portion 11a allows air to enter between the sheets of paper. Paper 1 stuck on section 11a
4 escapes to the escape hole 8c of the guide 8, and jams do not occur when the paper 14 gets jammed between the guide 8 and the paper receiving portion 11a.

Here, a constant torque T 3 is always acting on the reverse roller 10 provided in the separation section 13 in the counterclockwise direction, and the torque T 4 of the feed roller 9 that is in pressure contact with the reverse roller 10 is applied to the reverse roller 10. 10 , the reverse roller 6 is set to be larger than the feed roller 9.
Normally rotates clockwise due to the rotational force of. Therefore, the separation section 1 is removed by the pick-up roller 12.
When the paper 14 is fed to the paper 14, the feed roller 9 rotates counterclockwise and the reverse roller 10 rotates clockwise in response to this rotation, when the paper 14 is one sheet. is conveyed in the direction of arrow b by the guide 8.

Further, when a plurality of sheets 14 are sent to the sheet separating section 13, these sheets 14 are sent to the sheet receiving section 1.
The feed roller 9 rotates counterclockwise because air enters between the sheets 14 and the friction coefficient decreases, but the reverse roller 10 rotates counterclockwise without responding to the rotational force of the feed roller 9. Then, all of the sheets 14 other than the top sheet 14 are returned to the hopper 11. On the other hand, the topmost sheet 14 of the sheets 14 is conveyed in the direction of arrow b by the feed roller 9 and guided by the guide 8.

As described above, according to the paper separating device according to the present invention, the paper receiving section is provided at an angle toward the feed roller just before the reverse roller, so that the paper sent to the separating section does not pass through the paper receiving section on the way. Since the sheets are separated by riding on the separation section and air is introduced between the sheets, the coefficient of friction between the sheets is lowered and the sheets can be separated reliably. Also, even if the sheets are pushed strongly toward the separation section, they will not be able to reach the paper receiving section halfway. Because it comes into contact with the paper, it has the effect of reliably separating the paper into single sheets.
Further, by providing the escape hole in the guide above the paper receiving section, there is an effect that jams caused by paper getting stuck between the guide and the paper receiving section will not occur. Additionally, if the guide does not have an escape hole, if multiple sheets of paper are fed out at the same time, a wedge-shaped space will form between the paper receiving section and the guide, causing a paper jam. The escape hole provided in the guide allows the upper paper to move freely upwards, and the lower paper becomes difficult to move due to friction with the paper receiver, so only the upper paper is properly fanned, and then the feed roller With the reverse roller and the reverse roller, it is possible to reliably separate the sheets one by one and send them out. As described above, the present invention has the advantage that it can be used in devices that separate paper, such as facsimile machines and printers.
