Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent trouble caused by forgetting the release of a control switch by automatically outputting the release signal of the control switch when the control signal lines of respective units are connected.
CONSTITUTION: A unit side block 1 and a block 2 on the main body side of a money processor are totally connected through a connector 3. When the connector 3 is detached, a common terminal 18A of a switch 18 is turned to an L level through a photocoupler 9 and the output of photocouplers 12 and 23 are turned to an H level. Accordingly, when the switch 18 is connected to a terminal 18B, an inverter 20 is set to the H level and when the switch 18 is connected to a terminal 18C, an inverter 22 is set to the H level. Then, the correspondent unit can be controlled. When the connector 3 is connected, the both outputs of the photocouplers 12 and 23 are turned to the H level and accordingly, the both outputs of the inverters 20 and 22 are turned to the L level. Then, all the units can not be controlled.
