Abstract

PURPOSE: To display facsimile information on a display device in accordance with necessity in addition to a fact that a sentence can be read in the same way as a usual book by displaying the sentence information stored in a storage medium in the same way as the pages of a book are turned, and also, receiving the facsimile information and storing it in the storage medium.

CONSTITUTION: When a next page instruction key 4A and a previous instruction key 4B are operated, in accordance with its key operation, a first display output control means executes a control so that a reading-out device reads out information from a storage medium 14 and displays it on display devices 2, 3 in the same way as the pages of a book are turned. Also, a storage control means receives information received by a facsimile, allows the storage medium 14 to store its receiving information, and thereafter, when an output display key 4I is operated, a second display output means executes a control so that the reading-out device reads out the receiving information from the storage medium 14 and displays it on the display devices 2, 3. In such a way, a sentence can be read in the same way as reading a book, and also, facsimile information can be displayed on the display devices 2, 3 in accordance with necessity.
