Abstract

PURPOSE: To supply power with such generator output as corresponding to the variation of load by controlling the exciting current of generator corresponding to the battery terminal when power is fed from an AC vehicle generator to a low speed variable load such as a battery while corresponding to the generator output voltage when power is fed to a high speed variable load.
CONSTITUTION: A switch 11 for indicating operation or non-operation of a high voltage load 7, and a switch 9 interlocked with the switch 11 to switch the rectified output from an AC generator 1 and the terminal voltage of a battery 3 to the sense terminal of a voltage regulator 2 are provided. The terminal S of the voltage regulator 2 is normally connected to the battery 3 in order to perform charge control. When the high voltage load 7 is demanded and the switch 11 is turned ON to carry out intermittent control of a switching means 8, the switch 9 interlocked with the switch 11 is switched to connect the terminal S with the output terminal of the generator 1. By such arrangement, abrupt variation of output can be followed in the control.
