〈実施例〉
以下本発明を図示の実施例に基づいて説明すると、この
手首用血圧計のカフ帯1は、第3図及び第4図に示すよ
うに、外布10とこれの内周面側に位置する内布11と
の周縁を接合することによって、空気の供給で膨張する
環状の袋とされたもので、その周方向の中央部で且つ軸
方向の一端側の半分はどが、外布10と内布11との接
合によって、膨張が制限された膨張制限部2とされてい
る。
そして、このカフ帯1は、第1図及び第2図に示すよう
に、その膨張制限部2が手首の内側で且つ掌側にくるよ
うに手首に装着されて、手首の内側に位置する肺45の

が供給されて膨張するものである。
この膨張にあたり、lI!45の上に位置するのは膨張
が制限されている膨張制限部2であるために、カフ帯1
が手首に与える圧迫力は、鍵45の押圧に消費されるこ
となく、確実に動脈4.1.42に伝達されて阻血を行
う。
また、上記Fa45は、肘側においては骨格筋46とな
っているわけであるが、さほど堅くはない骨格筋46の
部分の上に位置するのは、膨張を行うところであって圧
迫を行うために、手首に加えられた力が逃げたりするこ
となく、この点においても動脈41.42の圧迫阻血を
確実とすることができると同時に、カフ帯1がずれ動い
たりすることが防止される。
膨張制限部2は、上述のように、周方向中央部に形成す
ることが好ましい。馳45の上に位置させることが容易
となるからである。また、膨張制限部2の幅りは、2〜
10xxであることが好ましい。この値より狭いと、膨
張制限部2付近のカフ帯1の歪みが大きくなるとともに
鍵45の影響を受けることになり、上記値より大きいと

膨張制限部2は、上記実施例では外布10と内布11と
を接合することによって形成したが、第5図に示ずよう
に、外布10の外面に配されてカフ帯1の膨張が内周側
へとなされるようにする押え板12からカフ帯1の内面
側へ折り返される折り返し部13を突設して、押え板1
2と折り返し部13との間で外布10と内布11とを挟
持することによって、膨張を制限した膨張制限部2を形
成してもよい。
また、第6図に示すように、内布10の一部に肉厚であ
ることから膨張しにくくなっている部分を設けて、ここ
を膨張制限部2とすることもできる。
第7図〜第9図に示すように、コ字形のクリップ3をカ
フ帯1に取り付けてカフ帯1を挟み込むことによって膨
張制限部2を形成してもよく、この時、クリップ3とし
て、その長さeや幅Wの異なるものを用意しておけば、
膨張制限部2の長さや幅を被測定者の手首の大きさのよ
うな個人差に応じたものとすることができる。

以上のように本発明においては、周方向の一部で且つ軸

いることから、この膨張制限部が鍵のところに合致する
ように手首に装着することによって、鍵に邪魔されるこ
となく膨張して圧迫力を確実に手首的組織に伝達し、動
脈の確実な圧迫阻血を行うことができるものであり、ま
た膨張制限部は鍵の部分にのみ対応しており、他の部分
は膨張して手首を圧迫することから、この点においても
確実な圧迫阻血を行うことができるとともに、手首から
