Abstract

PURPOSE: To efficiently manufacture the three way joint pipe in a short time with high accuracy by setting a metallic pipe of a T-pipe to a T-shaped support base, setting the lower end of a holding die member placed in a branched part of the pipe as the turning center, and turning said T-shaped support base.
CONSTITUTION: By using a filler consisting of a soft metallic material, a T-pipe formed by allowing a metallic pipe to branch so that three ways become almost the same length is manufactured. At the time of bending each pipe part 10a thereof in the same direction, each pipe part 10a is set to a groove 11a, and fixed onto a branch part of a T-pipe 10 by a holding die member 12. Subsequently, a mandrel 17 is inserted into each pipe part 10a by operating each hydraulic cylinder 15, and thereafter, each support base 11 is turned to a groove 12a of the holding die member 12 by using the branch part of the T-pipe 10 as a supporting point and each pipe part 10a is fitted into the groove 12a of the holding die member 12. In such a way, the three way joint pipe in which each pipe part 10a is bent in the same direction is formed.
