Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent camera moving at releasing operation by composing release operating members by arranging two releasing buttons at the symmetric positions on the top and bottom planes of a camera and carrying out the releasing operation by operating both releasing buttons. CONSTITUTION:The pair of release operating members 4 and 5 which carry out the releasing operation when being operated together are positioned at the corresponding positions on first and second planes. The thumb supports the camera by the bottom plane of the camera main body 1 (the plane provided with the releasing button 5), and other fingers depress the top plane of the camera main body 1 (the plane provided with the releasing button 4) so as to hold the camera. When the releasing buttons 4 and 5 are both operated, the operation of releasing is carried out. Therefore, the releasing button 4 on the bottom plane of the camera main body 1 is operated by the thumb, and the releasing button 4 on the top plane of the camera main body 1 is operated by one of other fingers. Thus, the releasing operating force is applied so as to sandwich the camera main body 1, and it does not operate as the force to rotate the camera, and the camera moving is not easy to be occurred.

As shown in Figure 2, this type of camera holds the camera by applying forces perpendicular to the photographic optical axis, and then releases the camera in a direction approximately perpendicular to the direction of these forces using the index finger that is not involved in holding the camera. The configuration is such that the button 25 is operated, and the configuration is such that hand shake (hereinafter referred to as camera shake) is unlikely to occur during the release operation.

Next, FIG. 3 is a perspective view schematically showing a conventional video camera. In Fig. 3, 31 is the camera body, 32 is the photographic lens, 33 is the finder eyepiece, 34 is the grip for holding the camera, 35 is the strap for fixing the palm of the hand holding the camera, and 36 is the release button. It is. Further, the arrow in FIG. 1 indicates the direction of incidence of photographing light. With a camera like the one shown in the figure, the force applied to hold the camera by the palm and fingers is applied in a direction almost perpendicular to the optical axis, and the force applied to hold the camera by the thumb, which is not involved in holding the camera, is approximately perpendicular to the optical axis. The release button 36 is configured to be operated in the optical axis direction, and the configuration is such that camera shake associated with the release operation is less likely to occur.

Hold the camera by pressing the back side of the camera body 41 (the side opposite to the side where the photographic lens 42 is located) with your thumb and the front side of the camera body 41 (the side where the photographic lens 42 is located) with your other fingers. The release operation is performed with a finger located on the front surface of the camera body 41, and the direction of this operation is approximately the same as the direction of the force applied to hold the camera, making it easy for the camera to move along with the release operation. However, the direction of movement is substantially coincident with the photographing optical axis, and the configuration is such that camera shake is unlikely to appear on the photographic film. However, cameras using 110 cartridges are prone to camera shake.

Hold the camera by pressing the bottom surface of the camera body 51 (the surface opposite to the release button 54) and the top surface of the camera body 51 (the surface opposite the release button 54) with your other fingers. For the release operation, the user presses the release button 54 with a finger located on the top surface of the camera body 51. At this time, the direction of the force applied for the release operation is substantially the same as the direction of the force applied to hold the camera, and camera shake is likely to occur due to the release operation. Further, this direction is approximately perpendicular to the photographing optical axis, and the configuration is such that camera shake is likely to occur on the film surface.

In a camera like the one shown in Figure 6, the external size of the floppy disk jacket is approximately 55□ x 60. , the length in the photographing optical axis direction is larger than that of a camera using the 110 cartridge film. Therefore, like the camera shown in Figure 5, the direction of the force applied for the release operation is almost the same as the direction of the force applied to hold the camera, and camera shake is likely to occur due to the release operation. , this direction is substantially perpendicular to the photographing optical axis, and is configured to easily cause camera shake on the image sensor (not shown). Furthermore, as described above, since the length of the camera body 61 in the direction of the photographing optical axis is longer than that of the camera shown in FIG. 5, the configuration is more likely to cause camera shake.

In the above configuration, the photographer supports the camera with his or her thumb on the bottom surface of the camera body 1 (the surface with the release button 5), and with the other fingers holding down the top surface of the camera body 1 (the surface with the release button 4). hold. Furthermore, when both the release buttons 4 and 5 are operated, the release is activated. Therefore, the release button 5 on the bottom of the camera body 1 is operated with the thumb, and the release button 4 on the top of the camera body 1 is operated with one of the other fingers, and the force applied for the release operation holds the camera. The force is approximately equal to the force applied to the camera, and it is also approximately perpendicular to the photographing optical axis. However, since the force applied for the release operation is applied to the camera body l in a pinching manner, it does not act as a force to rotate the camera, and camera shake is extremely unlikely to occur.

Furthermore, according to the present invention, since the release is performed only when two release buttons are pressed, it is unlikely that the release operation will be performed accidentally while being carried around.

[Effects of the Invention] As explained above, the present invention configures a release operation member by arranging two release buttons at symmetrical positions on the top and bottom surfaces of a camera, which is an imaging device, and operates both release buttons. Since the release operation is performed by doing this, camera shake is less likely to occur during the release operation.
