Abstract

PURPOSE: To easily perform the position alignment of a beam by increasing a light quantity when adjusting an optical axis by providing a switching means capable of increasing the light quantity projected from a light projecting element in a device provided with the light projecting element and a driving circuit to drive the light projecting element.
CONSTITUTION: A series circuit consisting of a LED 3 for light projection, a resistor R1, and a transistor 3 is connected between a power source +V and the GND. A pulse signal is inputted from a pulse driving circuit 1 to the base of the transistor 3. The series circuit consisting of a resistor R2 and a switch 4 is connected in parallel with the series circuit consisting of the resistor R1 and the transistor 3. The transistor 3 is turned on at every input of the pulse signal from the pulse driving circuit 1 at a state where the switch 4 is turned off, and the LED 2 is pulse-lit. When the switch 4 is turned on, a direct current flows on the LED 2 additionally, and the emitted light quantity of the LED 2 is increased. An AC component of projecting current waveform is not affected by the turning on and off of the switch 4, and a light receiving level at a light receiving side can be kept constant by cutting a DC component by a differentiation circuit, and adjustment for sensitivity can be performed as increasing the light quantity.
