Abstract
PURPOSE: To accurately measure and reproduce the cracking of concrete in three dimensions by photographing the cracking in the concrete surface by fixed base line length stereoscopic photography.
CONSTITUTION: A stereoscopic camera 1 is fitted on a photography rack whose base line is fixed so that the mutual positions of the lens centers of cameras 1a and 1b and the optical axis direction are fixed at specific values. Then the concrete surface 3 of a concrete structure 2 whose cracking is to be measured is photographed by the stereoscopic camera 1. The exposed film is developed and then set on the film rack of an analytic graphing machine 4 in a negative state, and the analytic graphing machine 4 finds the coordinates of the cracking position in the concrete film, photographed on the negative film, in a three-dimensional space. Then the obtained cracking measured value is stored on a storage means 5 such as a magnetic tape and also inputted to a computer 6 to calculate the width and position of the cracking in three dimensions.
