Abstract

PURPOSE: To produce an excellent vibration isolating effect for input vibration having a medium and high frequency by providing an elastic connecting part between an inner and an outer sleeve fittings with a vibration system formed of a supporting arm and a mass body to avoid an increase, dynamic spring constant occurring with an increase in input vibration frequency in a mounting.
CONSTITUTION: When vibration is inputted between an inner and an outer sleeve fittings 10, 12 to make the inner sleeve fittings move relatively to the outer sleeve fittings 12, force opposite to the displacement of the inner sleeve fittings 10 is generated against a mass member 26 from its insertia force. A fixed moment then effects an elastic connecting part 20 serving as a vibration isolating body on the insertia force of the mass member 26 through a supporting arm 24 in a direction where the moment decreases vibration transmissibility. Thus the weight of the mass member 26 and the rigidity of a supporting arm 24 are adjusted to facilitate the proper tuning of a frequency band where mount-vibration isolating characteristics is turned into a mode produced with a low dynamic spring. Increase, occurring with increase in input vibration frequency, in a mount-dynamic spring constant can therefore be avoided to lessen the vibration transmissibility in inputting the vibration having about tens- hundreds frequency.
