Abstract

PURPOSE:To exclude apparent change in concentration due to change in liquid temperature by keeping the temperature of standard liquid and that of a hydrated oil agent at the same value, and regulating the concentration of the water content in the hydrated oil agent based on the difference in buoyancies of a floating weight in the standard liquid and a floating weight in the hydrated oil agent. CONSTITUTION:Standard liquid 4 is contained in a standard liquid tank 3. The standard liquid tank 3 is immersed in hydrated oil agent 2. When the water content in the hydrated oil agent 2 is evaporated and the amount of water contents is decreased, the specific gravity of the hydrated oil agent which is smaller than the specific gravity of water is decreased. Buoyancy to a floating weight 7 is decreased. Therefore, the difference in buoyancies to the floating weights 5 and 7 is generated. The right-hand inclination of an arm 8 is detected through a detecting piece 10a, and the detected signal is sent into a control part 11. A solenoid valve 12 performs opening and closing intermittently. Water is supplied into the hydrated oil agent 2. When the difference between two buoyancies is eliminated, the arm 8 returns to the original balanced state.
