Abstract

PURPOSE:To effectively accelerate the cooling of pavement by spraying a cooling liquid to a number of locations on the surface of the pavement surface immediately after the pavement being paved and at the same time sending air to the pavement surface on which cooling liquid has been sprayed to accelerate the evaporation of the cooling liquid. CONSTITUTION:A cooling liquid is sprayed at a plurality of locations apart from each other on the surface of a pavement A just after the pavement being paved and at the same time air is sent at a plurality of locations apart from each other on the pavement surface on which cooling liquid has been sprayed to accelerate the evaporation of the cooling liquid sprayed. A cooling apparatus comprises a vehicle body 1, a spray unit 5, a blower 6, a frame 7, an air duct 13, and a spray nozzle mounted on the frame 7. This makes it possible to efficiently cool the pavement.

Furthermore, if the asphalt pavement is used for traffic when its surface temperature is approximately 50°C or higher, the supporting capacity of the asphalt pavement is small, and initial rutting and deformation are likely to occur in the asphalt pavement due to vehicle running. The pavement is opened to traffic when the surface temperature of the pavement becomes less than approximately 50'C.

<Problems to be Solved by the Invention> However, in such conventional cooling methods, the cooling efficiency is not sufficiently high, so the cooling time is long and the proportion of the cooling time in the paving work time becomes high. This resulted in problems such as a decrease in paving work efficiency and a longer time until the road was opened to traffic.

Then, while moving the vehicle to the left in FIGS. 3 and 4, water and air are sprayed onto the surface of the asphalt pavement A from each spray nozzle 11. At this time, since air is stirred and mixed into the water, the water is atomized and sprayed. Further, the blower 6 is driven to blow air into the sheet member 12 from each air blowing hole of the air duct 13. Thereby, air is blown inside the sheet member 12 to the asphalt pavement along the surface.

When the asphalt pavement A is cooled in this way, the evaporation of water on the surface of the asphalt pavement A is promoted by the air blowing, so the asphalt pavement A can be efficiently cooled by the heat of vaporization of the water, thereby reducing traffic in a short time. It can contribute to openness and keep traffic restrictions to a minimum. In particular, sheet member 1
2 is extended along the vehicle traveling direction (left and right directions in Figures 3 and 4), the asphalt pavement A at the same position can be cooled for a long time, and the asphalt pavement A can be cooled for a long time. Cooling efficiency can be greatly improved. In addition, since the wheels 8 are arranged so as to straddle the asphalt pavement A to be cooled, when the surface layer of the asphalt pavement is peeled off for maintenance and repair etc. and a new asphalt pavement is laid, the new asphalt pavement is It is possible to cool the pavement without damaging it. Further, since the seat member 12 is formed into a bellows structure, the seat member 12 and the wheel support frame 7 can be folded up as shown in FIG. By rotating it by 90 degrees, it is compact and can be moved to another construction site within the confines of a vehicle.

In addition, in order to improve the cooling effect, a predetermined amount of a surfactant may be added to the spray water.Addition of a surfactant will significantly reduce the surface tension of the water, so the water will spread flatly onto the surface of the asphalt pavement. evaporation of water is promoted,
Cooling efficiency is greatly improved. Specific examples of the surfactant include alcohol, aldehyde, fatty acid disoap, etc., which are available.

<Effects of the Invention> As explained above, in claims 1 and 2 of the present invention, after spraying the cooling liquid at a plurality of positions on the pavement to be cooled, the cooling liquid is sprayed toward the pavement or along the surface of the pavement. Since air is blown at multiple locations, the pavement can be efficiently and quickly cooled by the heat of vaporization of the coolant, reducing the amount of time required for traffic control. Further, in the third aspect, since the air guiding device is provided to guide the air in a predetermined direction, the vaporization of the cooling liquid can be greatly promoted by the air blowing, thereby greatly improving the cooling rate of the pavement.
