Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate a trouble to telephone from a caller to a destination party by providing a means receiving an extension telephone number inputted from a caller facsimile equipment and dialing the said extension telephone number to call the extension telephone set and a means sending a facsimile incoming notice signal to the extension telephone set.

CONSTITUTION: When a call signal from a caller facsimile equipment via a telephone line network 20 is detected, a guidance sending means 103 informs it to the caller facsimile equipment or a caller it that the facsimile equipment 100 has an incoming notice function. When the extension telephone number is received by a PB tone reception means 106 after the processing of the said guidance transmission, the telephone number is stored tentatively in a memory 110 to start facsimile communication and the telephone line is released after the end of facsimile communication. Then the dial control means 109 indicates the extension telephone number stored in the memory 110 to a network control means 102, the number is automatically dialed to an in-premises line network 30 to call a prescribed extension telephone set and an incoming notice transmission means 107 sends a facsimile incoming notice signal.
