Abstract
PURPOSE:To manufacture a cold rolled stainless steel strip having good surface brightness by annealing and pickling the steel strip after hot rolling and uniformly seizing the strip surface by non-lubrication rolling. CONSTITUTION:A stainless steel strip after hot rolling is annealed and pickled. Further, the strip is subjected to non-lubrication rolling to seize the strip surface. It is preferable to provide a shape controller such as a bender, etc., for a rolling mill performing non-lubrication rolling. Hence, a stainless steel strip having surface brightness more than that by rolling by use of small work rolls, such as, in a Sendzimer mill, etc., is manufactured.
