Abstract

PURPOSE: To minimize the heat transmission between the root part of a ceramic rotor blade and the inner surface of an embedding groove 4 by fitting ceramic plates having a high heat insulating ability in the inner surface of the embedding groove in the disc.
CONSTITUTION: The root parts 2 of several ceramic rotor blades 1 are fitted in embedding grooves 4 which are formed in the outer peripheral surface of a metal disc 3, and accordingly, a turbine is formed. Ceramic plates 5 having a high heat insulating ability are fitted in the inner surface of each embedding groove 4 which is made into contact with the root part 2 of each rotor blade 2. With this arrangement, it is possible to minimize an increase in temperature of the disc 3 without increasing the volume of gas for cooling the disc 3 even through the temperature of gas at the turbine inlet is raised. Thus, it is possible to aim at enhancing both efficiency and reliability of the turbine.
