Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable the detection of poor connection of a connector by providing a means for supplying a connector connection signal on one circuit board and a means for designating the poor connection between the circuit boards on the other circuit board.
CONSTITUTION: When a connector 3 is not properly connected, the supply of one or both connector connection signals to inverters 6 is stopped, and either or the both of the outputs of the inverters 6 are increased to high level. When either of the input signals is at high level, the output of an OR gate 7 is at high level. Thus, the both ends of a reed relay 8 become high level, and no current is sent thereto to turn off its contact 13. No current is sent to a light emitting diode 10, either. The control signal from a control base 1 in this state is sent or not sent to an input and output base 2, but the contact 13 of the reed relay 8 is in off state, sending no signal to an external equipment. Hence, the connector falling can be detected.
