Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce a thermal stress applied to a thermal transmitting pipe within an absorbing container, improve an aging life and further improve an anti-corrosion characteristic of the thermal transmitting pipe by a method wherein a discharging side of a refrigerant pump and a pipe for circulating a rich solution are connected through an opening or closing valve and when a heating operation is carried out, refrigerant liquid within an evaporator is supplied to a returned rich solution from a regenerator to an absorbing unit so as to be diluted.
CONSTITUTION: In case of a heating cycle, refrigerant vapor generated by a hot regenerator 9 passes through a refrigerant changing-over valve 14, fed directly into an evaporator 1 and sprayed into it so as to heat water flowing in a thermal transmitting pipe 4 within the evaporator 1 and then the refrigerant vapor is condensed and liquified. The condensed and liquified refrigerant liquid 2 passes through a refrigerant changing- over valve 15, is guided to a solution spraying pipe 13 of an absorbing unit 5 so as to dilute the sprayed solution (about 4%). The diluted absorptive liquid is fed into a regenerator by a solution pump 7. A rich solution condensed by a high temperature regenerator 9 and solution of a low temperature regenerator 10 are diluted within a spraying pipe 13 of an absorbing unit 5 again to complete a cycle.
