Bleaching agents are broadly classified into reducing bleaching agents and oxidizing bleaching agents, and oxidizing bleaching agents are widely used because of their superior bleaching effect. However, oxidizing bleaches have a low bleaching effect on mud stains and iron rust stains, and are not necessarily satisfactory.

It is used for the purpose of improving its storage stability, or is simply used as an auxiliary agent by adding it to detergents to improve their cleaning power. Although these bleach compositions have a bleaching effect on light stains such as iron stains, they are insufficient in their bleaching effect on stubborn deep iron stains and mud stains.
