【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、ソーター付き複写機の制御装置に係
り、特に、ソーター内で転写紙がジヤムを発生し
たような場合に、次の転写紙を確実に排出させる
ようにし、もつて、次の転写紙が機械内部に残つ
たり、2重のジヤムを起こしたりしないようにし
て無駄なジヤム取り出し作業をなくすとともにミ
スコピー枚数の低減化を図り、更には、ジヤムし
た転写紙が本来どのビンに排出されるべきであつ
たかを表示し得るようにしたものである。

の部分迄搬送され、2重のジヤムとなる。そのた
め、ジヤムした転写紙の次の転写紙は、たとえ正
常なコピーであつてもジヤムしたことになり、機
械内部よりジヤムした転写紙を取り出す作業が2
倍になり、また、前記次の転写紙が正常コピーで
あつても使用できないため、複写用紙が無駄にな
る等の欠点があつた。

写紙が入つた場合を示してある。ビン41〜410
の近傍には各ビンに対応して枚数表示器71〜7
10が設けてあり、該表示器71〜710によつて各ビ
ン41〜410に入つた転写紙の枚数をそれぞれ表
示する。第1図において、今、何らかの原因で転
写紙がソーター内でジヤムを起こしたものとすれ
ば、受光部6はジヤムが発生したことを検出して
ジヤム信号を発生し、このジヤム信号によつてト
レイ8を点線位置から実線位置にして転写紙の搬
送径路にセツトし、ジヤム後の転写紙をこのトレ
イ8に入れる。

点でPIB信号が“1”(ハイレベル)であれば、
転写紙は正常にソーター内に入つたものと判断さ
れ、ビンに入つた枚数カウンタを+1する。この
場合、PIB信号が依然として“0”(ローレベル)
であれば、転写紙は検出素子から出ておらず、ジ
ヤムを発生したことになり、この場合には、前述
のように、ジヤム信号を発生してソレノイド13
を作動させ、次の転写紙をトレイ8に入れるよう
にする。
