Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a compact base fabric of cataplasm without bulkiness, having flexibility and excellent fitness to body by extrusion-laminating non- woven fabric and film of thermoplastic synthetic resin in a specific condition. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic synthetic resin (e.g., ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer) is subjected to melt extrusion to film-like from slit in a ratio so as to solidify at a weight per square meter of <=25g/m<2>. Before extruded resin is sufficiently solidified, a nonwoven fabric containing <=20% thermoplastic synthetic fiber (e.g., polypropylene) and having 10-70g/m<2> weight per square meter is extrusion-laminated on both sides of said film to afford the aimed material.

Conventionally, knitted fabrics or nonwoven fabrics obtained by needle punching have been used as base fabrics for poultices. However, knitted fabrics are expensive, and the nonwoven fabrics obtained by the needle punching method are bulky and bulky when applied to the body. Therefore, recently, stretchable nonwoven fabrics have been developed as base fabrics for poultices, but the bulkiness of these fabrics has not yet been sufficiently eliminated.

In order to solve this problem, attempts have been made to reduce the basis weight of nonwoven fabrics, but in this case, the medicinal ingredients applied to the base fabric seep out to the opposite side of the applied surface, contaminating clothing, for example. There were some drawbacks that caused problems in practical use.

They discovered that by extrusion laminating nonwoven fabrics, it is possible to obtain poultice base fabrics that are not bulky, compact, fit well to the body, and do not ooze out medicinal ingredients.

The thermoplastic synthetic resin used in the present invention includes polyester, polyamide, vinyl chloride, and polyolefin resins, among which various polyethylenes and modified polyethylenes such as ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer are preferably used.

Generally speaking, when such a film and a nonwoven fabric are extrusion laminated, if the basis weight of the film is less than 25 g/rrf, sufficient adhesive strength between the film and the nonwoven fabric cannot be obtained. However, if the nonwoven fabric according to the present invention is used, the film and the nonwoven fabric have sufficient adhesive strength,
Moreover, a soft base fabric can be obtained.

That is, in the present invention, among thermoplastic synthetic fibers such as polyester-based, polyamide-based or polyolefin-based synthetic fibers, particularly preferably polypropylene or polyethylene fibers containing 20% or more fibers with a basis weight of 10 g/rrf to 70 g/rrr, more preferably 15g/rd
A nonwoven fabric having a weight of 50 g/rrf to 50 g/rrf is used. Naturally, nonwoven fabrics with different specifications within the above-mentioned range may be used for the side to which the drug is applied and the opposite side. For example, blending 10% to 60% of non-thermoplastic and hygroscopic fibers such as vinylon, cotton, and rayon on the surface to which the drug is applied improves the drug's applicability and creates a soft base fabric. This is extremely preferable in terms of obtaining.

Further, the proportion of thermoplastic synthetic fibers contained in the nonwoven fabric of the present invention is preferably 20% or more, but especially 4% or more.

The nonwoven fabric used in the present invention has a web prepared by a carding method, an airlay method, etc., and is further reinforced by heating, a water jet, a chemical binder, etc., but a nonwoven fabric containing composite fibers fused by heating is Particularly preferred. However, if the basis weight of the nonwoven fabric exceeds 70 g/n, the compact base fabric that is the object of the present invention cannot be obtained, and
If the basis weight is less than 1, it is difficult to manufacture. Furthermore, since the nonwoven fabric obtained by the carding method has good elongation in the lateral direction, it is effective in improving the fit to the body.

Example 1 50% of 2-denier rayon and 50% of 2-denier composite fiber whose core component is polypropylene and sheath component is polyethylene are thoroughly blended, a web is prepared by a carding method, and a fabric weight of 33 g/nf is prepared by heating with hot air. A nonwoven fabric (hereinafter referred to as A) was obtained.

Similarly, 5 m of 40% polyester fibers and 60% of the above-mentioned composite fibers were mixed together, the fibers were entangled by the water-jet method, and then heat embossing was applied.
A nonwoven fabric (hereinafter referred to as B) with a basis weight of 45 g/% was obtained.

Next, the obtained nonwoven fabric A was extrusion laminated so that the 82 types of nonwoven fabrics became the front and back sides, and the center was made of 9 g/rd polyethylene. In other words, a base fabric in which three layers were polymerized was obtained.

Next, this nonwoven fabric was used as the front and back sides and extrusion laminated so that the center was 8 g/honoethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (melting point 102°C) to obtain a three-layer base fabric. The obtained base fabric also exhibited excellent performance as a poultice base fabric, as in Example 1.
