Abstract
PURPOSE: To ensure the sealing to the end surface of a roller and the oiling to a crank chamber, main bearing and sub-bearing by intercommunicating passages for high pressure gas in ring shaped grooves of the roller at 180° apart to each other in the circumferential direction thereof and then mounting chip seals in the ring shaped grooves.
CONSTITUTION: As a low pressure type rotary compressor is operated, the compression in the compression part thereof is started and, since two openings 35, 36 provided on a roller 30 are located at 180° intervals in the circumferential direction, one of the openings 35, 36 is intercommunicated to the compression side and compressed gas is supplied in one of two concentric ring shaped grooves 31, 32 through passages 37, 38. Thus, a chip seal 33 provided in the ring shaped groove 31 or the chip seal 34 provided in the ring shaped groove 32 are forcedly touched on the end surface of a main bearing or sub-bearing so as to ensure the sealing of the roller end surface to the sliding surface of the main bearing/sub-bearing so as to ensure the oiling to a crank chamber, the main bearing and the sub-bearing.
