Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the cost of an apparatus and improve the value thereof, by driving a main circuit transistor on the AND condition of a drive signal obtained from a waveform generator and the sensing signal of a current sensor.
CONSTITUTION: A transistor inverter apparatus is composed of a power rectifier 1 and a main circuit transistor 2, a current sensing device 9, a base signal distribution circuit 10 and a waveform generator 11 to supply a load 8 with power. In this case, the base signal distribution circuit 10 has a timer 12 and takes the AND condition of a drive signal from the waveform generator 11 and a sensing signal from the current sensing device 9 for obtaining ON signal driving the base of main circuit transistors 3, 4 turning reversely to each other. Then, the antiparallel diode 5 of the transistor 3 is provided with a current sensor 6 in series so that the ON state of the transistor 3 is sensed and outputted to the current sensing device 9. Thus, it is possible to eliminate a current direction discriminator.
