Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent accidents such as a cage drop etc., with a brake torque automatically checked by generating torque in a motor during a cage is stopping, and outputting a brake torque abnormal signal if output is generated from a rotation detector.
CONSTITUTION: With a sequence control means 26, when a cage reaches the position flush with a story floor, the speed command from a speed command means 21 is made to zero, an induction motor is stopped via a motor control means 22, pulse width modulation circuit 23, and inverter 24, and concurrently a brake torque is generated via a control circuit 27 and brake coil 11. During the cage is stopped, with a brake torque check means 28, a motor control means 22 is commanded so that approximately 100% torque is generated in the direc tion where the cage to be descended with a motor, the pulse from the pulse generator directly connected to the motor is inputted in a counter 25, and when the pulse input i.e. rotation is detected, a signal is outputted from an output circuit 30 as a brake torque abnormality and a warning is given with a detection means 29. Thus a cage drop accident etc. by a brake shortage can be prevented.
