Abstract

PURPOSE: To disconnect only an abnormal processor and to attain checking without damaging a data processing function as a system by providing a timer part to count the limit time of a locked condition in a locking means.
CONSTITUTION: A system interface control device consists of a lock register 200, a control circuit 207, a subtracter 208, a decoder 209, an AND circuit 210, a preferential circuit 212, a selector 214 and an interface control part 215. The lock register 200 is equipped with a lock condition indicating part 201 to indicate that the lock register 200 is in the locked condition or in an unlocked condition, a processor number designating part 202 and a timer part 203. The timer part 203 detects that the locked condition of one processor has continued until the limit time, and by depending on the fact, the lock condition indicating part 201 of the lock register 200 is made into the unlocked condition.
