Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent oil from being dispersed again for making it possible to improve oil separation efficiency by forming flowing resistance in access side to a flow out port larger than flowing resistance in desertion side for making flowing speed on fluid nearly equal all over a demister.
CONSTITUTION: Refrigerant gas flowing into an oil separation chamber 2a from a flow in port 21 on a fixed scroll 7 in compressed, is supplied with lubricating oil in mist condition in a case 2, and the refrigerant gas flows through a demister 40 from inside to outside. On that occasion, flowing speed at which the gas passes through the demister 40 gets large in an access portion 40c and small in a desertion portion 40d, but in the access portion 40c, thickness of a second demister 40b is thick and flowing resistance is large, therefore flowing speed on the refrigerant gas becomes nearly uniform over the whole demister 40. Lubricating oil in the refrigerant gas is separated from the refrigerant gas when the refrigerant gas passed through the demister 40, and the separated lubricating oil is not dispersed again, especially, flowing speed in the access portion 40c is made to flower, therefore drips without generation on redispersion.
