Abstract

PURPOSE:To completely cut-off the whole joint by using grouting materials by providing a member to form a grouting space between two sheet piles to be fitted in to one side or both sides of each joint section of those two sheet piles. CONSTITUTION:One joint section 2A uses a traditional type of joint, and the other joint section 2B uses a joint having a curved member 3 capable of forming a grouting space connecting between sheet piles 1A and 1B as an integral part thereof. The end section 3A of the curved member 3 is brought into contact with the outside of the other joint section 2A. After washing out the inside of the grouting space 4 formed by driving the joint section 2A of the sheet pile 1A while fitting it into the joint section 2B of the sheet pile 1B already driven into the earth with jet water and so on, grouting materials such as grout, mortar, etc. are impregnated.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to water-stopping sheet piles used in bank protection construction using sheet piles and other civil engineering works that require complete water-stopping, and the use of the same. This is related to the water supply method.

The degree of water stoppage required for civil engineering works, such as seawalls using sheet piles and mountain stops for excavation during temporary construction work, is as follows:
This is mostly satisfied with the general sheet pile joints currently in use, but complete water stoppage is required for water-stop walls around industrial waste treatment plants that contain hazardous substances. On the other hand, it is impossible to expect complete water stoppage with conventional sheet pile joints.

For this reason, measures such as excavating the back of the sheet pile and pouring concrete over the entire surface have been considered, but it is extremely uneconomical to pour concrete over the entire penetration length, so even if that is the case, In fact, a continuous underground wall structure is more advantageous.

Further, although techniques such as a method of applying expansive paint to the joints of sheet piles have been developed, there are still problems of poor reliability and high costs.

The present invention was made in order to solve the above-mentioned conventional problems, and provides an economical water-stop sheet pile that can be completely water-stopped using grout only at the joint portion of the sheet pile.
The object of the present invention is to provide a water-stopping construction method that can be used to easily and reliably shut off water.

In order to achieve the above object, the water-stopping sheet pile of the present invention forms a grouting space in one or both of the joint parts of two sheet piles that are fitted together to stop water between the two sheet piles. It is constructed by integrally installing possible members at the time of manufacture, but the water stop method using such water stop sheet piles involves filling the grouting space between the two sheet piles formed by the above-mentioned members. After cleaning with jet water or other appropriate means, by injecting a grouting material such as grout or mortar, the joint can be completely watertight.

First, Embodiment 1 in FIG. 1 shows sheet piles IA and IB that are fitted together at joints 2A and 2B, respectively. One joint 2A uses a conventional joint, and the other joint uses a conventional joint. Part 2
A curved member 3 that can form a grout injection space 4 connecting both of these sheet piles IA and IB as shown by diagonal lines is integrally provided in B at the time of manufacture. Connect the tip end 3A of the member 3 to the other joint part 2.
It is designed to come into contact with the outside of A.

The inside of the grout injection space 4 formed by fitting the joint part 2A of the sheet pile IA having the above structure into the joint part 2B of the sheet pile IB that has already been cast into the soil is filled with jet water or other appropriate means. After cleaning with grout,
By injecting and filling a grout material such as mortar, complete water stoppage will be achieved at the joint portions 2A and 2B.

Next, in the second embodiment shown in FIG. 2, a curved member 3 is integrally provided only at one joint part 2B, as in the first embodiment, but in this case, the tip end 3A of the member 3 is connected to the sheet pile. A grout injection space 4 is formed so as to be in contact with the abdomen of lA.

Furthermore, Embodiment 3 shown in FIG. 3 is similar to Embodiments 1 and 2 by integrally providing a curved member 3 on the sheet pile IA side having a joint 2A having a different shape from Embodiment 1, and forming a grout injection space 4. It has a function.

Note that the above-mentioned curved member 3 has a certain degree of elasticity due to its structure, and even if its tip is pressed against the outside or abdomen of the joint of the sheet piles to be fitted when the sheet piles IA and IB are placed, the curved member 3 has a certain degree of elasticity. It is handled by making use of its elasticity and bending.
On the other hand, even if the tip of the member 3 is slightly separated from the joint or abdomen of the fitted sheet pile, the outside is soil, and the grout material flows from the grout injection space 4 during grout injection. Even if it protrudes a little, there is no problem with grouting and water-stopping effects.

Next, in Embodiment 4 in FIG. 4 and Embodiment 5 in FIG. A member 3A capable of forming the grout injection space 4 shown by diagonal lines connecting the space.
, 3B are integrally provided, and in Example 4, each joint part 2A, 2B is provided with male and female parts, and both are asymmetrical, and grout is injected into the grout injection space 4 formed in the center part. This has made it possible to provide complete water supply to the entire Tsugugi district.

In addition, in Example 5, one joint part 2A side is male, the other joint part 2B side is female, one member 3A is curved, and a grout injection space 4 is formed between it and the other member 3B. This is what I did.

(Effects of the Invention) As explained above, in the present invention, by forming a space in which grout can be injected within the joint of two sheet piles that are fitted together, it is possible to completely watertight the entire joint by injecting grout. This makes it possible to achieve a completely water-stopping type of sheet pile water-stopping construction.

Therefore, in the past, there were concerns about the use of sheet piles to stop water from harmful substances, and expensive water stopping methods had to be adopted, but by applying the present invention, sheet piles can be completely stopped. This makes it possible to perform economical water stoppage work.
