Abstract

PURPOSE: To automate readjustment and perform it effectively by carrying out mechanical and electrical neutral adjustment for a torque sensor with it installed in the same place as it is.
CONSTITUTION: In mechanical neutral adjustment, first a pulse motor 20 is driven counterclockwise, and an output shaft 2 is rotated counterclockwise with the rotational drive torque to attain the rotational limit. Then the pulse motor 20 is driven clockwise to attain the other rotation limit. The rotational angle θ at this time is counted in the form of the number of pulses of the pulse motor 20, and the counted number is divided into two to determine the mechanical neutral position. In electrical neutral adjustment, first a pulse motor 19 is driven counterclockwise, and a slide table 8 is moved. Then the pulse motor 19 is driven clockwise, and half a motion of the slide table is conducted to provide determination of the electrical neutral position.
