Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a color copied image from one piece of a colored original by transferring to a transfer paper an image responding to color light developed by a developing device.
CONSTITUTION: By setting an image light from the colored original 14 to the developing device 36, the image light is resoluted into the three primary colors which make incidence on a surface of a photoconductive body 20, which is electrostatically charged, forming electrostatic latent images responding to each color light. The images responding to 1stW3rd color light beams developed by 1stW3rd developing devices are transferred to a transfer paper 48. Thus colored originals for each color need not be produced and the color copied image can be obtained by copying one piece of a colored original three times.
