Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to supply a refrigerant to suit a load in room, by correcting an error in valve opening through control means of an electrically driven expansion valve provided to control its valve opening by signals of valve opening setting device and initializer.
CONSTITUTION: Opening of electrically driven expansion valve 4 is set by valve opening setting device 12 in accordance with a load in room detected through room temperature detector 11, and is controlled by control 13 of the said valve 4, which is simultaneously initialized through detecting start-stop conditions of compressor 1 by starting time detector 14 and through detecting compressor stop by compressor stopper 15 from the detection of start-stop conditions. Consequently, the opening and shutting operations of the electrically driven expansion valve 4 become frequent after initialization of the said valve made at the time when cooling or heating operation is started, but as the said valve is initialized when the compressor is shut off below room load setting, the initialization gets more frequent, which enables an error in the valve opening made by hysteresis of the said valve to be minimized.
