Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the air fuel mixture of a combustibly ranged air fuel ratio to be localized in the perimeter of the spark plug at all times by providing the 1st fuel supplying means supplying fuel to the air suction passage, and at the same time, providing the 2nd fuel supplying means supplying directly fuel to the vicinity of the spark plug. CONSTITUTION:At an air suction manifold 6 forming an air suction passage 4 for an engine 2, the 1st fuel injection valve 10a is provided on the upper stream side of a throttle valve 8, and at the same time, the 2nd fuel injection valves 14a are provided at respective cylinders 12 in such a way that their injection holes 14b are made to face on combustion chambers 16 and also, are directed toward spark plugs 18. These fuel injection valves 10a, 14a are controlled in operation separately by means of an operation control means 20. That is to say, at the control time of respective fuel injection valves 10a, 14a, the supply quantity of fuel from the 1st fuel injection valve 10a is made to be decreased (increased) when an air fuel ratio as the whole of mixed air is regulated on a lean side (a rich side), while the supply quantity from the 2nd fuel injection valve 14a is controlled so as to be made to be increased (decreased).
