Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate the start of a DC regulated power source even when the reverse voltage is applied to the output side by securing the connection for an error amplifier of a trailing overcurrent protecting circuit only at the application of the input voltage.
CONSTITUTION: When the reverse voltage ER is applied to the output terminals (b) and (c) in an inactive state where no DC voltage E is applied to the input terminals (a) and (d), a thyristor consisting of transistors TrQB and QK is turned on within an IC and a TrQOP of a non-start countermeasure circuit 3 is turned off. Thus the main current path of the thyristor is interrupted and the thyristor is never turned on. When the voltage E is applied under such conditions, the IC is active to drive a control TrQ via a TrQA and a DC stabilized power supply has a rise. Thus it is possible to completely prevent the non-start state of said power supply in a state where the reverse voltage is applied to the output terminal.
