Conventional button mechanisms of this type include those shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. That is, in FIG. 1, A is a key top for opening and closing the switch, and a groove B is formed on the outer periphery near the tip of the key top. On the other hand, the button C is formed with a fitting part D that can be freely fitted with the key top A, and the key top A is formed on the inner surface of the opposing upper wall part D1 and lower wall part D2 of the fitting part D. A protruding portion E that can freely engage with the groove B of is provided in a protruding manner. Also, the left and right side walls D 3 and D 4 of the fitting part D
A slit F is formed in the center of the upper wall.
An elastic force in the vertical direction is applied to D1 and the lower wall portion D2 .

Therefore, when the fitting part D of the button C is inserted into the key top A, the tip of the key top A is inserted into the protruding part E.
When contacting and getting over this, the upper wall part D 1
and the lower wall part D2 are pushed outward, and when the groove B of the key top A engages with the protrusion E, the upper wall part D1
The lower wall part D2 has been restored to suppress vertical wobbling.

In addition, in Fig. 2, projections G1 and G2 are provided on the upper and lower surfaces of the tip of the key top A, and the front surface thereof is formed into a slope to facilitate insertion of the fitting part D of the button C. has been done. On the other hand, the fitting part D of the button C has the above-mentioned protrusion G1 on the upper wall part D1 and the lower wall part D2 .
Locking holes H 1 and H 2 into which G 2 and G 2 fit are formed. In the figure, the same numbers as those in FIG. 1 indicate the same structure.

Therefore, when the fitting part D of the button C is inserted into the key top A, the upper wall part D 1 and the lower wall part D 2 of the fitting part D are pushed outward by the protrusions G 1 and G 2 , and the protrusion
When G 1 and G 2 fit into the locking holes H 1 and H 2 , they are restored to their original state and prevent vertical wobbling.

However, in both of the above two conventional examples, the key top A and the fitting part D of the button C engage only in the vertical direction, and elastic force is imparted to the upper wall part D1 and the lower wall part D2 . However, since the left and right side wall portions D 3 and D 4 are completely unrelated to the key top, rattling in the left and right direction is likely to occur, making it difficult to obtain a sufficient fit between the two side walls A and C.

Therefore, in order to solve the above-mentioned drawbacks, the present invention aims to achieve a stable fitted state between the key top and the button fitting part by fitting them with elastic force on four sides (top, bottom, left and right). This is to provide a button mechanism for the push switch.

In the above drawings, reference numeral 1 denotes a key top for opening and closing the switch, and the key top 1 has a pair of flat plate parts 2 and 3 arranged vertically and parallel to each other with an upright part 4 interposed therebetween, and has an inward elastic force at its tip. Give power. Incidentally, since the U-shaped key top 1 is actually formed by resin molding, the flat plate portions 2 and 3 are inclined inward toward the tip due to the difference in cooling rate. Furthermore, locking recesses 5 and 6 are formed at corresponding positions on the side edges of both flat plate parts 2 and 3, respectively. 7 is a light emitting element such as an LED, and the element 7
is located on the upright part 4 of the key top 1, and 8
1 is a light emitting part of the light emitting element 7, 9 is a lead wire, and 10 is a switch case.

Next, the assembly of the above embodiment will be explained.
First, when the fitting part 13 of the button 11 is inserted into the key top 1, the opposing surfaces 2a of the flat plate parts 2 and 3,
The side portions of the guide receivers 17a, 17b come into contact with the slopes 19a, 19b, and the corner portions of the tips of the flat plate portions 2, 3 abut against the locking protrusions 21a, 21b. When the button 11 is further inserted, the support arm 1
4A, 14B and 15A, 15B are pushed apart in the left and right direction, and the locking protrusions 21a, 21b are attached to the flat plate portion 2,
3, and the tips of the flat plate portions 2 and 3 slide on the slopes 19a and 16b, thereby gradually being spread apart in the vertical direction. and,
When the locking projections 21a, 21b reach the locking recesses 5, 6 of the flat plate parts 2, 3, the support arms 14A, 14B
Due to the restoring forces of 15A and 15B, the locking protrusions 21a and 21b fit into the locking recesses 5 and 6, and the opposing surfaces 2a and 3a at the tips of the flat plate portions 2 and 3 engage with the guide receivers 17a and 15B. 17b horizontal planes 20a, 20b
is crimped. As a result, the flat plate portions 2 and 3 of the key top 1 fit into the button 11 without play in the horizontal and vertical directions. After that, the button cover 22 is fitted onto the button 11 from the direction of the base 12 to complete the assembly. Then, the light emitting part 8 of the light emitter element 7
When the light from the button 11 passes through the protrusion 12a of the button 11, it becomes a self-illuminated push switch.
