Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to industrially profitably manufacture a filter- insert molded product by a method wherein a perforated filtering material is transferred to the predetermined position of one mold of a pair of injection molds and, after that mated to the other mold at another stage so as to form a cavity for molding the outer tubular part of a filter. CONSTITUTION:A turn table rotatable about a shaft 11, which is installed perpendicular to the plane of a base trestle 10, is provided on the trestle 10. And, at least two molds, each of which is one mold of two molds constituting a set of injection molds or a bottom force 13, are installed on the turn table 12 so as to be intermittently and alternately shaftable between a stage A and a stage B by pivoting the turn table 12. Further, on the trestle 10, a filtering material perforating and transferring device 14, (in the stage B), which controls a first process and a second process, and an injection molder 15 (in the stage A), which controls a third process to injection-mold synthetic resin, are arranged perpendicular to the plane of the base trestle 10 at respective separate positions. The stage A and the stage B are connected to each other by pivoting the turn table 12.

<Prior art> Various types of filters are used depending on the application, such as liquid filtration in the food field, infusion filtration in the medical field, and chemical filtration in the physical and chemical field.
A molded filter is used in which the outer circumference of the filter material is joined to an outer cylinder made of synthetic resin. Especially in the medical field,
In the field of physics and chemistry, in order to prevent contamination from the outside and to ensure the safety of handlers, there is no direct contact with the filter material.
Furthermore, many disposable type filter moldings that are limited to one-time use and are not reused have been used.

<Problems to be Solved by the Invention> However, this method of bonding the filter material to the pre-formed filter outer cylinder using an adhesive not only has low productivity and high cost, but also causes the possibility of contamination by foreign matter. However, it was not satisfactory in terms of hygiene, such as the elution of adhesives and solvents. In particular, in the case of small filter moldings such as those used for infusion filtration as medical devices, the work of gluing the filter material with adhesive is extremely difficult because the filter material and the filter outer cylinder to which the outer periphery is bonded are small. It was inevitable that it would be cumbersome and unhygienic.

<Means for Solving the Problems> For this reason, the present invention provides a method for manufacturing a filter molded article in which the outer periphery of the filter material is joined to an outer cylindrical portion made of synthetic resin. The first step of punching the filter material into a predetermined shape from the original fabric, and the second step of transferring the punched filter material to a predetermined position in one of a pair of injection molds are performed in succession, and then the filter material is transferred to a separate stage. in,
A cavity for molding the filter outer cylindrical part is formed by aligning one mold of the injection molding mold that has undergone the second step with the other mold, and the filter outer cylindrical part is molded by injection molding, and at the same time the outer periphery of the filter material is formed. Provided is a method for manufacturing a filter molded article, characterized by performing a third step of joining the filter molded article to an outer cylinder made of synthetic resin.

<Operation> According to the above method and apparatus, filter material is punched into a predetermined shape from a raw filter material in one stage, and then the punched filter material is continuously inserted into one of a pair of injection molding molds. The mold is transferred to a predetermined position in the mold, and on a separate stage, a cavity for molding the filter outer cylinder portion is formed by aligning the other mold with the one mold of the injection mold in which the punched filter material is set. It is now possible to mold the filter outer cylinder part by injection molding and at the same time join the outer peripheral part of the filter material to the outer cylinder part made of synthetic resin. A filter molded product can be obtained.

To explain the filter material punching/transfer mold 16 in more detail, a male mold 29 for punching filter material is provided facing downward on a platen 20 that is driven up and down by a drive ram 21 via holding plates 27 and 28. . The tip of the male die 29 for punching out the filter material faces a hole in the holding plate 31 connected to the lower surface of the holding plate 28 by a spring 30, 30. A female plate 32 having a female die 33 for punching out the filter material 23 in cooperation with the male die 29 is provided below the holding plate 31. Incidentally, a suction hole 34 connected to a vacuum pressure source is opened at the tip end surface of the male die 29 for punching out the filter material.

Therefore, when the drive ram 21 descends, the holding plate 31 first presses the filter material 23 against the female plate 32, and then the downward pressure of the drive ram 21 is applied to the spring 30.

At the same time, by applying a vacuum to the suction hole 34 installed at the tip of the male die 29, the punched filter material 1 is cut out. While being suctioned and held on the tip of the male mold 29, the filter material 1 is transferred to the tip of the core pin 35 of the lower mold 13 for injection molding.

The lower mold 13 for injection molding holding the filter material 1 at the tip of the core pin 35 is then moved to the A stage by the rotation of the turntable 12.
To prevent the position of the filter material 1 from changing, vacuum is applied to the suction hole 37 installed in the core pin 35 of the lower mold 13 for injection molding, so that the filter material 1 can be held by suction. Further, in order to eliminate the influence of external forces such as wind on the filter material 1, it is preferable to rotate the turntable 12 while the product ejecting ring 36 of the lower mold 13 for injection molding is temporarily raised upward.
