Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a tasty coffee by a method wherein the amount of coffee powder which is set in a basket, is detected by a weight detecting unit to determine a hot water supply amount, and at the same time, the amount of the hot water in the basket is detected by the weight detecting unit, and a hot water supply device is controlled by a control unit.
CONSTITUTION: A temperature in the vicinity of a heating pipe 34 which is close to a circulation outlet 48 of a heating device 32, follows the temperature of water which flows in, and for this reason, the temperature of the water can be indirectly detected by a temperature detecting unit 54 which is heat- sensitively attached. Then, a signal of the temperature detecting unit 54 enters a control circuit 56 through a first A/D conversion circuit 55. In the meantime, a basket 43 in which a coffee powder 68 is placed, is engaged with a protruding part 47 and an engaging part 45, and a weight detecting unit 41 which is attached to the engaging part 45, generates a signal which is proportional to the overall weight of the basket 43. This signal enters the control circuit 56 through a second A/D conversion circuit 57. Then, in the control circuit 56, the operation of a pump 38 is judged by the signal from the temperature detecting unit 54, and hot water is supplied.
