Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve partition forming precision by preparing a jig with grooves arranged in specific shapes and next by filling these grooves with a partition forming material.
CONSTITUTION: A jig 20 with grooves 2a, which are formed beforehand in the same dimension as a size of a partition for substitution of paste, is prepared, and the grooves 2a of the jig 20 are filled with a partition forming material. A base member 22 with a base glass 23 coated with glass paste is closely stuck to the jig 20. Subsequently the jig 20 is detached from the base member 22 and provided with firing so that the partition material 21 is completely stuck to the base member 22. Superposition printing is not hence required in this manufacturing process. Since precision of the partition can be improved and labor in the process can be reduced, improvement in quality, a rise in production efficiency, and a decrease in cost can be realized.
