Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent throw-in of power source under faulty state, by confirming existence of fault in power source abnormality detecting function prior to throw-in of power source, thereby finding fault in the power source abnormality detecting function quickly.
CONSTITUTION: One input of an AND gate 2 is brought to 'L' level when a power ON switch 1a is turned ON, while it is brought to 'H' level when the power ON switch 1a is turned OFF or when a relay contact 4 is turned OFF due to abnormality. The other input is brought to 'H' level through software control based on an alarm monitor control signal, and when it is set in an FF circuit 3 an alarm signal is outputted. Detecting function is stopped temporarily at this time and a power source is thrown in. Upon elapse of predetermined time after throw-in of power source during which the level exceeds over a power source abnormality threshold, power source abnormality detecting function is activated and if abnormality is detected, power source is interrupted, while if abnormality is not detected, the abnormality detecting function is operated continuously.
