Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain high torque stably not only in starting but also in all the range from low-speed rotation to high-speed rotation, by coupling multiple stator windings mutually in series and by providing a voltage shifting device additionally to a stator.
CONSTITUTION: Windings 19 and 20 respectively wound around multiple stators 21 and 22 are coupled in series and connected to a power source. Each phase of rotor windings 5 and 6 is shorted in between the rotor cores. With the voltage induced to the sections corresponding to each stator 21 and 22 of the rotor windings 5 and 6 the current will flow to the windings 5 and 6. With a pulse motor 27 by rotating the stator 21, phase difference is caused. By changing this phase difference the output torque is caused to change.
