Abstract

PURPOSE: To make improvements in operation efficiency by reworking an unmachined form automatically on the basis of skip data, storing initial hole numbers, as going by way of a moving path connecting these numbers, after machining is over.
CONSTITUTION: A table on which a workpiece 12 is clamped is moved to an initial hole number P1 stored in a numerical control system from a machining end spot PE by way of a first moving path 100, and it is stopped. Next, when connection of a wire electrode is confirmed and started, machining for a sequential form, namely an unmachined second form is automatically started, and on the basis of skip data, it is stopped at a spot P8 of an initial hole number 8 by way of each of second to fourth moving paths 101W103. Thus, in the case of continuous form machining for a plurality of pieces of the workpieces, the unmachined forms are automatically discriminated and remachined so that operation efficiency is well improved and, what is more, there is unnecessary to reset these data complicatedly, and operability is thus improvable.
